Vettel, starting from the third position of the starting grid, after Leclerc, in pole position, and after the British Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes, managed to reach the front of the platoon due to the strategy to change the tires.
Hamilton only took 4th place in Singapore, ahead of his teammate, Valtteri Bottas, fifth, and Thailand’s Alexander Albon of Red Bull.
In the 7-10 place were British McLaren-Renault’s Lando Norris, Frenchman Pierre Gasly from Toro Rosso, German Nico Hulkenberg from Renault and Antonio Giovinazzio from Alfa Romeo.
Denmark’s Kevin Magnussen from Haas received the spot for the fastest lap.
Vettel is in his first win this season, his fifth in Singapore. And for Ferrari “double” is a premiere this year.
In the overall standings, Lewis Hamilton is still the leader with 296 points, followed by Valtetri Botats, with 231 points, Leclerc, with 200 points, Verstappen, also with 200 points, and Vettel, with 194.
At builders, Mercedes accumulated 527 points, the most. Ferrari is second, with 394 points, and Red Bull with 3, with 289 points.
