The man will be admitted to the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Timisoara and an epidemiological investigation has been initiated to identify all the persons with whom he has been in contact.
A few hours ago the eighth case of coronavirus, a 51-year-old man from the Olt, was confirmed.
“The 8th case of infection with the new coronavirus was confirmed positively. This is a 51-year-old man from the Olt, who traveled from Italy on the same bus as the 71-year-old man from Suceava, being his direct contact ”, the Strategic Communication Group announced.
The man has no specific symptoms, was in isolation at home from February 29 and will be admitted to the Hospital of infectious diseases in Craiova.
Of the 7 cases confirmed so far, three have been declared cured, all three persons being discharged.
The health status of 16-year-olds hospitalized in Timişoara diagnosed with coronavirus is good, with no symptoms, and patients admitted to Iasi and Cluj-Napoca have an improved health status at the time of admission.
