At the invitation of the event released on Thursday, Apple has included a five-color company logo, which suggests it will release more colors for new iPhone models.
Lately, the company has been at the center of problems caused by trade tensions affecting its activities in China.
Apple will bear the 15% tax that will be imposed by the Trump administration on major Chinese-made products, such as smartwatch and wireless headphones, starting September 1, with iPhone charges coming into effect on December 15.
The share of iPhone sales in total Apple sales fell to below 50% in the previous quarter, for the first time in the last seven years.
Apple will likely unveil new iPhone models at an event scheduled for September 10, at the Steve Jobs Theater on the campus of Cupertino, California.
