Glastonbury Festival in the UK, attended by Taylor Swift, Sir Paul McCartney, and Kendrick Lamar, along with Diana Ross and Dua Lipa, has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“We are very sorry that this decision was made,” the organizers said.
The festival was to take place on the last weekend of June.
The organizers decided before April 1, when the spectators were going to pay the rest of the amount from the ticket of 270 pounds.
Fans who have already paid £ 50 will have “the opportunity to buy a ticket to Glastonbury 2021,” organizers said. Also, the reimbursements will be valid for those who want to recover the money.
More than 200,000 people would have come to Worthy Farm in Somerset if the festival had been organized as planned June 24-28.
