The coronavirus infection from Alesd was triggered by a man from Bulz, who was admitted without mentioning that he had contact with a person returned from abroad. He transmitted the COVID-19 virus to six more patients in the neurophysiology department of the Hospital in Aleşd. The patient in Bulz lost his life on Sunday, April 5th is the first victim in Bihor County.
“Preliminary results of the epidemiological investigation show that a male patient from the town of Bulz admitted to the Pneumophysiology department in Alesd, is positively confirmed at COVID-19 on March 28th. Following the outbreak of the epidemiological investigation, biological samples were collected from several 35 persons, including medical-sanitary personnel (Ambulance, ward and own staff in the section), 4 salon contacts and 4 family contacts. The tests for medical staff and 3 salon contacts are negative. A salon patient is positive on April 1st.
