Norwegian actor Kristofer Hivju, who played Tormund Giantsbane in the “Game of Thrones” series, announced on Instagram that he had isolated himself, along with his family, at home after contacting the new coronavirus.
Hivju, 41, said: “We are fine – I only have the symptoms of a cold,” he wrote in the message accompanying a photo that appears with his wife, Gry Molvaer Hivju.
The Norwegian actor urged his followers to comply with the measures: to wash their hands, to keep a distance of one and a half meters between people, to respect quarantine.
“Together, we can fight this virus and avoid a crisis in our hospitals,” he said.
American actor Tom Hanks has been tested positive for coronavirus and was hospitalized in Australia. British actor Idris Elba announced on Monday, in a message posted on Twitter, that he was diagnosed with coronavirus. Olga Kurylenko, known from “Quantum of Solace” is sick.
On Monday, 1,169 coronavirus cases were detected in Norway, where three people died from Covid-19.
